The Eastland County Water Supply District (ECWSD) had conducted the Free-Chlorine Conversion for the Eastland-Ranger Water System since October 1, 2019. The Conversion consisted of changing our water disinfection from Chloramine to Free-Chlorine. This was a routine maintenance procedure in which our staff flushed water lines throughout the system during the burn-out period. On Friday, November 1, 2019 the Free-Chlorine Conversion procedure was completed and we have now returned to normal Chloramine disinfection.
